Very sadly, Ken passed away in 2025. Whitby Fishing Boat Trips is now managed by Ken’s wife Gina, with Sea Mist being skippered by Chris Metcalfe.
Ken, is a local lad who has lived in Whitby all his life. He has always being associated with the fishing and charter boat industry, and has built up a vast knowledge of all aspects of the industry.
He has good knowledge of all the wrecks and reefs in the area which the Libby is operated in, and holds a current Sea Fish Trawler Skippers license.
Ken is also a very experienced engineer and maintains the Libby to a very high standard for your safety.
