Libby is a traditional south coast boat, built by Ron Berry Weymouth. She has recently undergone a full restoration to very high standards for your safety and comfort. She is the longest serving Whitby fishing charter boat and is locally renowned for her sea keeping abilities, especially while lying beam on to the weather whilst fishing.
There is ample room for 12 passengers. We also maintain up to 20 rods on board, to maximise your fishing time and reducing the time spent on tangles.
Libby is also equipped with all the latest electronics, including a 1000 watt echo sounder, chart plotter, radar etc, which enables us to pinpoint wrecks and reefs.

New Engine and Control Unit
Keeping Libby in tip-top condition is vital. She undergoes regular matinenance and has recently had a new engine fitted, as well as a new control unit built by Ken.
In September 2020, Libby underwent her 5 year survey. Having lifted her completely out of the water we were able to insepct every part of the hull and thoroughly check every mechanical and electrical system on board.
